Ordering FAQ

1.     Do I need a finalised drawing to place a part order on TMP?

Not necessarily.  If you have a part, concept, or sketch, feel free to contact us to see if we can help firm the specification up, or commence by manufacturing a sample for you.


2.     How do I get the drawings and specifications to TMP?

You can either upload the files through the Jobbing Quote Form or if small enough email directly to info@toughmetalparts.com.au.
If you only have a sample please get in touch by email or on 1800 181 351 to discuss options with us.


3.     How do I place an order with TMP?

Please download our TMP Job Order Form and complete it and send back to us with a copy of your Purchase Order and the necessary drawings and specifications via email, or upload the files through the Jobbing Quote Form.  If you are an account holder with us then just your Purchase Order, and the drawings will suffice.  Please also refer to our Terms & Conditions of trade.


4.     What are TMP's payment terms?

If you are an account holder with us then normal trading terms of end of the month following delivery should apply.  If you do not hold an account with us then we will require 50% of the order value on placement and 50% prior to shipment.  If you are a repeat customer and would like to apply to be an account customer please request an Application Form.  Please also refer to our Terms & Conditions of trade.


5.     How long will it take for TMP to deliver my parts?

This depends on the complexity of the part, the number of parts ordered, the programming requirements, and the material availability at the time of ordering.  However, we can assure you that we don't hang around and if the job gets held up for whatever reason we will be in touch to let you know.
